Mission Statement:

The purpose of the Crescent-Odell Lakes Volunteer Response Team (COLVRT) is to promote community awareness, cohesiveness, safety, and provide assistance to individuals in their time of need.

     2008 Activities:

  • Hosted Ski Team and prepared their dinners
  • Provided dinner for the Fire Defense Board
  • Prepared meals for several Fire/EMS training sessions
  • Provided assistance to two local families and one fellow firefighter
  • Worked to complete the training room and both offices
  • Donated four (4) tables to the Department
  • Donated a Computer
  • Contributed to the purchase of the new copy machine
  • Maintain building calendar
  • Maintain both upstairs and downstairs of the Community Center
  • Assisted in setup for large Homeowners Associations
  • Donated white board for the office
  • Purchased 10 additional cots

    Fund Raisers:

    Pancake Breakfast: COLVRT enjoys providing the community and friends of the community a delicious breakfast and the opportunity to get together, meet new people, and exchange ideas.  The accompanying bake sale is a favorite amongst participants.

    Ski Team:  COLVRT has hosted the South Eugene Ski Team for several years.  We avail sleeping space and prepare dinner each evening, making practice possible for the ski team during their winter break from school.

    Recycling: The local camp hosts generously donate the pop cans left in their depositories. After much sorting and bagging, these donations are turned into cash for our community.
